Unintentional Hilarity - Superman

OK, it's been a while, so I thought I'd post another Unintentional Hilarity.

So, in real life, the explanation is pretty simple - the bullets are fake, the prop gun is real. But I love the idea that while bullets can't harm Superman, a thrown gun can!

Maybe it's just a reflex reaction? :P

Lol... Methinks that gun is made of kryptonite.

I always wondered about the limits of Superman's bulletproofness. Are his eyes bulletproof? How about if you shot at his mouth and he swallowed a bullet? Could he choke?

Anyway, getting fired at that much-- even if it doesn't hurt-- would be distracting, at least, right?

In the middle-early days of Superman comics when they were trumping his powers (the 50's), nothing could touch him ('cept 51 flavors of kryptonite). The original Supes couldn't fly and wasn't monstrously strong or invincible when he first apeared. It was only after he was put on radio, TV, and film that those qualities started to take hold.
